LAG was pretty good to us today.
Train 1: CN M363 drags its feet on the IHB main headed towards the CN Elsdon Sub in Blue Island.
Train 2/3: As soon as the Metra units from above pass over, the NS stack transfer (T16 I think) passes under. Wow, even if it was Metra, it's still very hard to get an over / under here with engines.
Train 4: Another CN manifest bound for the Elsdon powered by again two 75I's makes way down the IHB. Also note the horn, a rather rare occurrence on this line. Make that, an extremely rare occurrence.
Train 5: BNSF 70ACe as DPU on a coal train.
Train 6: A BNSF "Z" train headed by BNSF 7316 bounces up and town the poor main line through the station.
Train 7: Excellent horn show from Amtrak #5. Also, if you can look carefully, you can see the conductor hanging half way out the window!
Train 8: Tried something new, scared the shit out of me. Put the camera right next to the crossing, and a rock infront of the camera so that it wouldn't move while Amtrak #4 passes above.
Train 9: A manifest with BNSF EMD SD70ACe 9170 and BNSF EMD SD70ACe 9386 fly down M2 through Stone Ave.
Train 10: Last train of the day, a CN manifest bound for the Elsdon has an SD60F Cowl Unit on the point of a lengthy land barge.
