Thanks for the snow God! Wanting to hit up The J, Dan and me went to West Chicago in hopes of seeing the EJ&E's N21 local. We didn't see it, but we saw 3 trains on The J in total. Ontop of that the C&NW twins went through, and every UP train gave horn.

Train 5: M 347 flies through the on the single track main. My batteries almost killed me on this one.

Since the local didn't go through we thought it might be in Eola. It wasn't, but we got an even better treat

Train 6: Driving back on Ogden I wanted to show Dan my new spot on the BNSF. Metra flies around the bend at MP 26.

Train 7: Because Lisle and Bartlett are so close to each other, we saw a red on the Freeport, and headed west. Then more west. Then more west. CN is fucking retarded. It takes them over an hour to back the train up and get it heading south on The J, and they call it effecient. They blocked 2 miles of crossings for over 45 minutes.
