Dan and I were headed to Eola... Larry and Mini Frank were there as well... 'Nuff said.

#1: Light unit move for "EOLKCK" gathers cars from the north yard and couples them to the cars on the most southern main.

#2: Immidiately after a BNSF local with 2911 (The Pill) heads into South Yard.

#3: SAVEOL with two Gevo's slows as it has to wait for EOLKCK to clear the yard main.
============================================================
#4: Amtrak 4 with a very nice looking SOO Private car cruises through the active yard jobs. (Kind of funny that Train 4 is Amtrak 4)

Dan and I went to Joliet and the Joliet areas. Didn't see that many trains, but the trains we did see were kick ass.
============================================================
#1: The DeSoto job with squeaker (watch and you'll see why) EJ&E 446 and IC 1497 cross Washington and throw the switch to cut through, but not service, the scrap facility located right behind us.

NOT IN VIDEO #2: We went to Rockdale to see if the Iowa was parked. The IAIS wasn't there, but two CSX Geeps powered on and a small train were parked just short of the office.

#4: This was kick ass. We went back to Rockdale to see if that train had acquired a crew. It didn't. We drove through downtown Joliet to get back home, and we we were at UD we saw the back of a manifest. Crossing the river on route 53 we got a look at the power. 50 MPH later we beat it to Lockport where another foamer was sitting in his car in drive wasting gas. We were able to find a new spot away from Onions, and got the CSX/SOO manifest. What is neat about the spot is that with power like this, you wouldn't have any idea what main it could be.

#5: Renegade Railfan Dan gets his shot of Amtrak 303 with Phase III NPCU 90222 screaming through Oxbow.
