Some streets in Covent Garden, London are still lit by gas.

There are thought to be around 1,300 working gas lamps left in the capital.

Responding to concern about their future and applications from @thelondongasketeers and @the_victorian_society, more than 50 gas lamps in Westminster have been listed in 2024 on our advice.
