An extensive settlement established over 2,000 years ago, including possible evidence of a Roman villa, has been discovered during an excavation in Gloucestershire.
The excavation near Willersey, funded by us and directed jointly with Cotswold Archaeology, reveals possible evidence of a Roman villa, which may also have a pair of flanking wings, one at either end of a central range.
