4498 Sir Nigel Gresley has now returned to its famed BR blue livery which means its temporary wartime black/protective coat is no more and its highly likely we'll never see an A4 in that colour again. So it seemed prudent for us to create a video compilation of last years shots featuring the Black A4 on the Severn Valley Railway, The North Yorkshire Moors Railway and its Inaugural mainline tour over the S&C and the West Coast Mainline.
We were also on hand to capture its final run in Black as it headed back from London to Crewe in preparation for repainting.
While the video features nothing new and most of you have seen these shots before, I felt it was best to put all of our shots in one place so they can be watched with ease.
We can now all look forward to seeing Sir Nigel Gresley back in his renowned livery.
