My review of the second James Bond Book - Live and Let Die. In this book James Bond is sent by MI5 to investigate Mr Big, an american criminal mastermind and fan of over-complicated executions, who is smuggling rare gold coins from a pirate's treasure horde! He and old buddy Felix Leiter get involved with a variety of henchmen, one or two sharks (Jaws not included), and of course the mysterious Solitaire!
Published in 1954, LIve and Let Die was later adapted into a film which was the first Bond film to feature Roger Moore.
