Emerging evidence and clinical experience indicate that metabolic therapies, including a ketogenic diet, can be an effective treatment for many psychiatric conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, and more. But to ensure maximal efficacy and safety, there are a number of lifestyle metrics you may want to track. These include ketones, sleep, physical activity, and the timing of your meals. We go into each of these in detail, including how to improve each area, and how this may impact your overall progress. This could be a resource to watch and share with your healthcare practitioner as you embark on your ketogenic journey.
