This film was created for the #makestuffchallenge by filmmaker Levi Allen.
I've never entered a film competition before, but Levi's challenge sparked a curiosity and an idea. I wouldn't normally enjoy the pressure, deadline or restrictions of a film competition, but in the #makestuffchallenge I found a reason to push myself out of my comfort zone.
I took the film's concept, that "life's better when you make stuff", as a challenge to make more stuff - whether or not I had the time to perfect every shot transition and audio level.
At midnight on the competition deadline, I ended up feeling a sense of satisfaction at what I created and a satisfaction at pushing myself to meet the challenge.
So, thanks Levi.
