↡ Projecting at Caley ↡

It's always a gamble taking an afternoon off to go and search out boulders, but after several damp weekends I was craving an outside session. Caley was the natural choice, only fifteen minutes down the road and full of hard boulders that I could project long-term if need be.

Ticking Ju Ju Club 7b+ within an hour of warming up was a completely unexpected bonus, but the style of the boulder seemed to play to some of my strengths. I also managed to send The Prow 7a+ after only a few red-point attempts, this boulder had frustrated me earlier in the season but Tuesday's temperatures made all the holds feel twice as positive.
