As is the way with Quest for Glory games, the option to help out Harami isn't just good for raising your honour, it's absolutely essential to completing the game. Sekmet said that we needed the aid of five people to defeat the approaching evil. Two of them are Rakeesh and Uhura, people we befriended during our previous adventures in Shapeir. The third is Yesufu, the son of the chief of the Simbani and the fourth is the honourless thief Harami.
To enlist his future assistance, you need to help Harami out for three days in a row. Only food is useful to him as he can't spend money and though he insists that he isn't your friend and will ditch you and everyone else the moment he can, kind acts have a habit of worming their way into even the coldest of hearts. Once you've helped him enough and suggested he seek out a friend of yours who will help him despite his honourless state, he never appears again, so be sure to get all your honour changes - be they positive or negative - done before that point.
