On the first episode of Let's Play Fatal Frame, Mafuyu Hinasaki tries to track down his mentor, a novelist named Junsei Takamine. Takamine, along with his editor and his assistant, went missing while investigating Himuro Mansion to do research for his upcoming book. We enter the mansion and discover Takamine's notebook, before being assaulted by an unruly spirit and discovering that the old camera Mafuyu brought with him is able to banish spirits. Shortly after, he is attacked by something else and we switch perspectives to his sister, Miku. Miku arrives at the manor to search for her now also missing brother, and quickly finds the notebook and Camera Obscura that he dropped when he was attacked. Our only choice is to plunge deeper into the decrepit mansion to discover what happened to Mafuyu and the people he was searching for.

Unfortunately for them, shes got a high power, rapid fire laser pistol and a pair of laser claws that carve up demons pretty nicely. With nowhere else to go, Aemi hops over to the demon ship to see what theyve got going on.
