On the third episode of Let's Play Fatal Frame, we wander around the Himuro Manor for a bit to try and locate the talisman that we deactivated in the last episode. Eventually we find it, leading us to a courtyard behind the manor. Here we find ourselves on the trail of Takamine's assistant, Tomoe Hirasaka. And it doesn't take long before we learn that she also fell victim to the rope curse, dying right in front of Takamine. There's also a lake behind the manor, but the wooden path across it is too damaged for us to traverse right now. Continuing to follow the ghostly echos of Tomoe, we're soon attacked by her restless spirit in a rather cramped and wet room. It seems that she learned something about how to break the rope curse, but died before she could tell Takamine (or write it down for us among her numerous notes). When we make it back outside, we're attacked once again by Tomoe, and this time she's serious. We manage to defeat her at the cost of almost our healing items, and learn from Takamine's notes that a "True Holy Mirror" is necessary for sealing the Hell Gate. We also find a shrine out in the property's bamboo forest, but with no way to open it currently we return to the Manor itself.
