Hi. My name is Mark Diaz, welcome to this course.
I’m glad you decided to learn a bit about making money with your skills.
In this very first lesson I will cover the overview of what you will be learning with this course.
My main objective, my mission, is to help you make a living doing what you love.
For that, we will explore a website called Fiverr.
Fiverr, for those of you who haven’t heard about it, is an online marketplace where people can hire services from other people around the world.
Prices and services start at $5 dollars for every job or task. Or Gigs, as they are called inside Fiverr.
You can get a lot of services, from translations, to writing a resume for your job, from video editing services, and yes, from all the things you can learn here at 2DAnimation101, animation, motion graphics, vector tracing, storyboarding, character design, etc.
So what we will be covering is how to get a Fiverr account, and set you up as a seller.
Once you are a seller, you will be getting 80% of all the revenue, Fiverr gets 20%, so for every $5 usd, you get four dollars. Not a bad deal. Actually, it is a pretty darn good deal!
So, you will learn how to create your seller account and start selling your services.
But not only that, I will teach you some tricks to help you start the best way possible.
How to create gigs that will sell, how to present them, and make them interesting for people to click on them and hire your services, be it video presentations, vector tracing, animation, etc.
But once you have your gig up and running.
What’s next?
Is the course over?
Nope.
That will be just half of the work. The next part would be to get a lot of traffic to those gigs and get you known all over the internet.
I will show you ways to get traffic if you have no budget, which will require you to put some time and effort, or the faster way, for those who have the budget to spend on advertising.
And once you have awesome gigs up, and some traffic. Is the course over?
Nope. I go even further to teach you how to handle customer service, how to deal with difficult negotiations, tricks that not everybody knows, that will help you maximize your sells.
And then, after you know how to create gigs that sell, get traffic and ways to handle customer service and maximize sells... will that be all?
