Today I want to discuss a very interesting topic.

The big WARNING I felt as a duty to share.

Less drawings sabotages your animation.

I am not kidding.

Here are the things this animation is screwing up:

body language
natural expressive movements
facial expressions
mood of the scene
interesting shots and staging
IN SUMMARY
When we use very few drawings, we basically screw up our animation.

Because we screw up

The Body Language
The Facial Expressions and
The Mood of the Scene.
All of them are part of the EMOTIONAL EXPRESSION of your character.

This whole video is talking about 1 very simple concept. EMOTIONAL EXPRESSION.

Without proper emotional expressions, we get an animation that is dull, something robot-like.

And that happens because of our laziness to do more drawings.

In short:

If you want your animations to be less robot-like, less dull, and more expressive, use more drawings.
