You should know…
There is a chance that people are already looking for your stuff, they just haven’t found you yet!
So how do you know what people are typing on the search bar to find your stories, ideas, or message?
For this you can do a technique called Keyword Research.
And in this tutorial you will learn how to use the FREE KEYWORD PLANNER from Google.
Just follow these 3 steps:
1. Type 1 or 2 keyword phrases that you think people would type into the search bar to look for your video.
2. Get suggestions with actual numbers of what people are looking on the internet.
3. Pick the best keyword phrases and use them to add into:
a) The title of your animation
b) The description
c) The hashtags that you put in the description
d) And, if you haven’t recorded yet, mention those keyword phrases in the animation or video
Do that, and the YouTube algorithm will look in those 3 places, if it finds a match, it will start showing your video on search results for people.
And if people like it and watch more than 40% of your video, YouTube will show your work on more and more search results and suggested videos.
Just remember, the YouTube algorithm takes whatever the user puts in the search bar, and looks for those terms on its library of videos in:
- Title
- Description
- and Content of the video.
Content of the video? Yes. Remember that YouTube now has this engine where it can automatically generate close captions to videos so they can also know what the videos are about. This helps to improve the search results to display for each user.
