Often overlooked in swordplay, learning to fall safely is an essential skill in martial arts and life in general. Here I present some basic exercises of falling safely to the ground. From there we can then look to applications with the sword in hand, rolling etc. Enjoy!

1. Protect your head and spine
2. Protect your joints, bones
3. Get comfortable with the ground
