Here are Stephans exchanges from the Tournament at the International Rapier Seminar in Warsaw (2023). He ranked 6th out of 40 participants and managed to reach the quarter-finals. It is worth noting that Damian, his last opponent, was later recognized as the best technical fencer.

We extend our sincere thanks for the thrilling exchanges and commend the organizers for their awesome event!


In historical fencing or HEMA (for Historical European Martial Arts) we reconstruct sword fighting systems from historical sources. Our club focuses on Italian medieval and renaissance sources, fencing with the Spadone (Two-Handed Sword), Spear, Sidesword (One-Handed Sword) together with Shield, Cape, Dagger, you name it!
