Underrated Exercise for Skaters & Soccer Players

Lateral crossover sled drags are a great tool to load the frontal-plane muscles of the hip. You get a true two-for-one: the abductors and adductors working together.

It’s also a sneaky good lower-leg and ankle exercise. Great for re-conditioning the ankle and foot after injury while still training the whole system.

A lot of people like the lateral sled crossover push, but athletes tend to cheat and overload that version. Pulling the sled keeps the torso more upright, cleans up the pattern, and just looks better overall in my opinion.
