A rock/metal cover of the 'Last Surprise' theme from the video game Persona 5 (and Persona 5 Royal).
Arguably the most famous song from Persona 5, and for good reason!
I've never heard a battle theme that's as groovy as this one, and every single melody in this song is just so catchy!
I didn't want to deviate too much from the original, but definitely wanted to give a more heavy metal edge to the song. So more distorted and lead guitars and a breakdown, but the Rhodes piano and bass mostly stayed the same, and keep the funky feel. I thought a guitar solo would also fit very nicely at the end to conclude the song!
Finally, I'm not a vocalist and this song was definitely out of my range! However I wanted to try and do the vocals anyway continue to improve my singing, so if you choose to leave a harsh comment or some criticism, at least tell me how I can improve!
