A cover of Dying In Your Arms by Trivium, of their album 'Ascendancy'.
Trivium was definitely one of the first few bands that got me into metal, and this is the first Trivium song I ever heard, and instantly loved how catchy it was on first listen!
I tried to keep the instrumental as close to the original album recording as possible, as it's a pretty easy song, and added the piano intro from the radio edit just for some extra 'spice'.
A lot of the older Trivium songs have some of that 'Hetfield rasp' going on, so I wanted to give it a try. As mentioned in other videos, I'm know not a great singer, this is mostly for practice. That said, I think this turned out better than I thought it would, so expect to see more Trivium in the future!
And finally, if you do choose to leave a harsh comment or some criticism, at least tell me how I can improve, and I hope you still enjoy this cover!
