The Chase Sapphire Reserve®, the most premium Sapphire card offered by Chase, just underwent a major overhaul.
It’s got all revamped annual credits like up to $300 flexible travel credit, up to a $300 dining credit at eligible restaurants, and up to a $250 credit towards Apple Music and Apple TV+, just to name a few. Plus, you’ll now earn 8x points per dollar spent through Chase Travel℠, including the introduction of a new Points Boost feature allowing you to earn up to 2 cents per point on select redemptions when you use your Ultimate Rewards through Chase Travel℠.
Personally, I'm a big fan of most of these changes, but they do come with an increased annual fee of $795 per year, which now makes this the most expensive card in this category — and I know for a lot of us it may be difficult to justify. But depending on which of the new credits you're able to use, you may get that annual fee covered more easily than you’d think. On top of the changes to the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, they also introduced a brand new Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, which offers benefits catered towards business owners, like up to a $400 annual credit towards ZipRecruiter and different spending multipliers that include 3x points per dollar on advertising on social media and search engines.
