We just spent two nights at a billionaire’s Moroccan palace using points...here’s how we pulled that off. Kasbah Tamadot is a Virgin Limited Edition property owned by famous billionaire, Richard Branson. But since it’s part of Virgin, we didn’t have to spend over $2,200 for our short stay — instead, we used 140,000 Virgin Atlantic points, and thanks to a 40% transfer bonus, this was actually a decent redemption value. Still a lot of points…but this was one of the most unique and unforgettable properties we’ve ever visited. Every inch felt like a Moroccan palace — wood-carved ceilings, colorful tile courtyards, I mean, look at how unique this place is! The food was also incredible with plenty of options and more importantly, reasonably priced for 2 miles and points nerds definitely punching above our weight class. But by far the best part was the staff who were genuinely kind and clearly took a lot of pride in this unique property.
