I just saved $150 in 30 seconds on a Southwest flight that I had already booked…let me show you how this works. Southwest frequently runs different promotions and if one of these pops up after you book a flight, you can go to the Southwest app, click on your existing booking, and essentially rebook that exact same ticket but if the price has dropped since you booked, Southwest will give you back the difference as a credit which you can put towards your next Southwest flight. So I guess this won't necessarily save you cash on this flight, but it could save you cash on your next flight. So during one of these promos, I checked my upcoming flight to Puerto Rico and sure enough, the price had dropped $74 per passenger so I rebooked the exact same ticket and with a few taps on my phone and less than 30 seconds of effort, I just earned a $148 credit that I already put towards another flight. I know given all the recent changes to the Southwest Rapid Rewards program, which you can learn more about in this video, this isn't exactly an airline that everyone's loving at the moment myself included, but if you're like me and you live near a major Southwest hub then the reality is it's still more convenient to fly Southwest for shorter domestic flight than driving way further just to get to a different airlines hub so this could be a great way to save you a couple hundred bucks. Let me know if you've ever used this and subscribe to Daily Drop for more tips because
