The second fight on 29F is a refight against three bosses that would normally be fought earlier in the game (during the non-plus postgame segment), but this playthrough ended up skipping because they are fought to recruit Renko and Maribel, and apparently 3peso's spaghetti code hard tied those fights to Renko and Maribel not in party or something. They're also a refight of the adds of the original Labyrinth of Touhou's final boss, though they acted very differently then compared to their counterparts in this game.
While you have to fight all three of them at the same time, they will spend several turns doing nothing before actually starting to fight; Shredding joins on turn 2; Chanting joins on turn 4; Staring joins on turn 6. They are vulnerable to damage before they join in, so you can break loose with your multi-target and row-target moves. The main problem with this fight is True Greatsword of Calamity; they all missed in this particular run but when they connect, they deal overkill damage like Scourge and lowers maxHP even if you survive them with Guts or the like (so you'll end up with an 1/1 HP character). Shredding will use it on the first and fifth turns of its 6-turn pattern, so look out for when it uses Summon Herculean Power as Greatsword would come out next, then two turns afterwards (don't be like me and think it comes out three turns afterwards instead). The other two aren't nearly as dangerous - Chanting's special move is Perpetual Insanity which deals some damage and ailments and... lowers maximum MP by 2. Whoopee-doo. And Staring just uses a lot of support and annoyance moves randomly, which can complicate the fight but it joins in so late, that if you haven't gotten the fight under control at that point you're probably not going to win control back either way.
Oh and all of three of them go berserk if they're the last part left. Both Shredding and Chanting would start regenerating, and Shredding will also start gaining ATK every turn, while Chanting will start spamming Perpetual Insanity every other turn. Staring, on the other hand, would just start using more annoyance moves, so leaving it last is pretty safe all in all.
