Yet another Hengband boss, this one is actually in the original Angband too as the last boss, not to mention the last boss (in a sense?) of its own original universe. It sure doesn't live up to all that in this game, though.
The main problem with this fight is that this guy will charge up an Underworld Hammer twice, at 90% HP then 60% HP. Underground Hammer deals overkill damage at this point (assuming it can connect) and doesn't always target the left slot, but the whole charge up process is slow, and when he does that twice in a row just to kill a single target, it really slows donw the pace for him. He's got more HP trigger moves afterwards too; at 50% he'll use Magic Erase to remove buffs, then charge up Unmarred Light of the Two Trees to halve frontliner's HP/MP and steal their buffs, so don't buff up after Magic Erase I guess. At 30% HP he'll charge up for two Underworld Hammers in a row, and that's more or less about it. All this charging up for moves that aren't really all that deadly really kills his threat level as a boss, so just use these openings to deal massive damage to the boss before he can get back to his more threatening regularly scheduled moves.
