I was super impressed with this little thing. Right up until the point it stopped working. And that was about two rolls in... then the shutter gummed up. The mirror was still firing, and everything else on the camera was operating as normal, so apart from the blanks films after development, there wasn't really much to tell me that it wasn't working.
Fortunately for me I tried a long exposure, and I realised that I was hearing the mirror sound, but not the shutter sound. Did a bit of testing in the fiels, and it was definitely not working as it should.
Such a shame, because the first two rolls that I got out of the camera I absolutely loved.
But you know, this is vintage cameras, and antique cameras, this happens. They slow down, they gum up, they need love and attention.
Aaaaanyway, let me know what you thought of those portraits! How good was that light?
