A step by step guide to changing the mirror foam and the ground glass foam.
As most of you will be aware, the Bronica S2 and Bronica S2A are prone to focus issues. There is foam under the frame holding the ground glass in place, and under the mirror, and both of these can and do break down. When they do they will throw your focus right out.
I've posted a video before about this fix, but that was all about me doing the fix for the first time. I've now done this successfully seven times, so I feel confident now offering an actual HOW TO, rather than just a video of me finding my way!
Once the video is up and running I'll put some timecode links down here, to help you skip between sections of the video.
YOU CAN DO THIS FIX! It's not too difficult. All you need is a set of small screwdrivers, some replacement foam, and some rubbing alcohol to clean things. Whole job should take you about an hour, maybe 2 if you're being careful.
