Everyone's always banging on about pinhole photography... I don't really get it. So I figured I should do it, see what it's all about.
I made a pinhole lens board for the Intrepid 4x5, and took it out to shoot some portrait sort of things with the awesome Ashely Robson (ashleyrobson.com and starnow.co.uk/ashleyrobson5)
And after all that... I'm kind of interested. There's no doubt that pinhole photography creates some interesting effects. But as I've always said, I want to be able to control my photographic processes to create images that I want to make. And right now, I have no control over pinhole!
The big question is do I want to put in the hours to get good at it? Am I convinced that the end results will be worth it? No... but I should really give it more of a chance than I have already.

Oh, and if anyone knows how to get a pinhole to give sharper images close to the camera, instead of beyond 10ft or so, then please please let me know in the comments! Because that would be really interesting. Bigger hole? Smaller hole? Is it even possible?
