Since 2013, Knights Landing One Health Clinic (KLOHC) has provided veterinary care for pets of the communities of Knights Landing and Robbins, California. This once monthly free veterinary clinic is led by students of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, the nation’s #1 ranked veterinary school. All services provided are supervised and assisted by faculty and staff of the school. These teams of veterinary students, veterinary technicians, and licensed veterinarians provide the community’s pets with physical examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and minor diagnostics and treatments with the assistance of UC Davis undergraduate students who may be interested in pursuing careers in veterinary medicine. In order to provide the best communication between the volunteers and the clients, the clinic offers Spanish translation services if necessary.
