I figured no one had ever tried finding skips for this game, so I gave it a shot. Managed to find a semi-big skip from the first map of the game already. It seems this might overall save a little over two minutes.


This is a pretty simple trick. Wait until you get out of the first room, get some height by running against the wall near where the next wave of Helghast are coming from, go around an invisible wall by going a little to the left. Now you're out of bounds and can freely go wherever you want.


There's a fair amount of floor outside bounds, so you can pretty easily go right to the end of the stage while staying outside the playable area.
