Back to the basics... You can streamline Broken Destiny high jump by substituting Broken Destiny (air) with the regular Blades air attack.

You lose air momentum slightly faster than when doing a Broken Destiny jump, but not by too much. So, overall, while you can't get the maximum height of a Broken Destiny jump using a Falling Helios high jump, executing the jump is much faster and it will come in handy optimizing various high jumps around the game. The fact that it doesn't require anything more than lv. 3 Blades and the Amulet could also help in categories where upgraded Ice isn't available.

This trick also makes it theoretically easier to use the Olympus Strike-glitch in high jumps, because you don't have to switch between Ice and Electric in order to do the break-out. Maybe it's slightly less fiddly that way?

To do this high jump, you have to keep triangle held down all the time so that Falling Helios becomes buffered immediately after each Blades-attack, then cancel Falling Helios at the right time using the Amulet. Your air momentum matters a lot. That's pretty much all there is to it - just got to get the timing right to not accidentally waste air momentum at any point.

You can also (just barely) do the first Kirra jump using this tactic without Amulet, but it's not recommended. Rather use Broken Destiny jump here, if possible...

Also, using regular tether to interrupt Falling Helios can work as a decent jump finisher in areas without any enemies that Kratos would automatically target towards.
