HAPPY BIRTHDAY OTOW!!
OTOW may not have gotten a slice of cake for his 3rd birthday yesterday, but he did get catch a bad guy!!
On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, multiple units responded to the Lowes located at 7575 Southwest State Road 200 reference to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, the suspect later identified at Terrance Blocker (DOB: 09/25/1987), who walked out of the store with $1,156.00 worth of merchanidse that he didn't pay for, ran from Deputy Gernert. Deputy Gernert chased the suspect to the woods behind the medical complex that is just east of the store. Deputy Gernert set up perimeter and waited for K-9 to arrive on scene. K-9 Deputy Matthew Bowers and his K-9 OTOW arrived and immediately tracked in the woods and apprehended Blocker. Blocker was treated for minor injuries in relation to the dog bite, and he transported to the Marion County Jail.
