Dogs and horses stole some of the spotlight at the 2026 National Day parade today, joining 112 service animals from six agencies in the march-past at Dataran Putrajaya.

The Prisons Department fielded 10 K9 unit dogs, including Becky, who rode in the passenger seat of a patrol vehicle during the march-past.

The police mounted unit led its contingent with 20 horses, forming the first detachment ahead of the police marching bands and operational units.
