Bursa Malaysia closed lower today as renewed selling pressure on technology stocks weighed on sentiment ahead of Nvidia’s earnings, with investors looking for signs that the AI investment boom can drive sustainable earnings growth.

Trading was also cautious ahead of tomorrow’s public holiday, which kept investors from taking on bigger positions.

Meanwhile, the ringgit fell against the US dollar to 4.0400.

In the crypto market, Bitcoin fell to RM312,423.

Ethereum fell to RM9,939, while Solana was down at RM382.

That’s it for Market Pulse.
