Happy New Year everyone! What a fantastic way to kick off 2026 services on Neville Grove. This exquisite Saint Class in stunning BR Black has only just arrived with Hornby so here is a short little video to show of its excellent slow running and good looks straight out of the box.
All I've had time to do so far is fit an HM7000 decoder along with the detail pack which includes crew, drain cocks, lamps, screw link coupling, separate numberplates and brake rodding.
It is already in the queue for some oily rag weathering along with fellow Saint class member - "Lord Palmer" in Great Western green livery. Watch this space...
@HornbyModelRailways have raised the bar again for ready to run modellers and that's saying something following an excellent year of new releases from several manufacturers.
