World speed record holder Mallard and Empire of India both star in this running session after receiving attention in the Neville Grove weathering workshop. These Hornby A4's have had subtle layers of dirt and polish effects applied to recreate the look of hard working, but well maintained, top link steam locomotives in service with British Railways.
Combined with real archive sound recorded by Peter Handford on the East Coast Mainline in the early 1960's, these ready-to-run models are brought to life with a running session on the Neville Grove model railway - check out those Chime Whistles and listen to the roar of those double Kylchaps!
The engines were renamed & renumbered for Dan of @Flyingscotsdan Instagram fame. These OO gauge models are only a small part of Dan's A4 collection - The big man himself Sir Nigel, would be impressed!
