Hot off the Hornby production line is this stunning brand new set of "The Coronation Scot" coaches to go with with their streamlined Princess Coronation locomotives.
Visiting Neville Grove to receive Custom Deluxe Weathering, we couldn't wait to share this magnificent model of 6220 "Coronation" + all 9 coaches in full flight.
In fact, to say the loco and coaches are stunning is an understatement. All put together in the correct formation the complete train is extremely impressive indeed. The complete Hornby set is the closest we will ever get to seeing the real thing as it appeared at the height of the glitz and glamour of the 1930's.
For the very first time, Hornby have modelled all five of the different coach types that made up the nine coach rake. Each carriage is beautifully and individually detailed and include working lights to give the train that WOW factor! Make sure you watch to the end to see the full effect!
Whilst in the Weathering Works, these coaches will have the close couplings and corridor connections installed. These items are included in the box by the way and will make them look even more realistic.
