Depending how you jump off the Hydra, its possible to do it without changing the mod menu (this happens too when you exit some boats like the Speeder), instantly applying modifications to the next vehicle you enter. This can save you some time, as you wont need to press exit vehicle button while holding handbrake to get the modifications.
