This is the first steel roller coaster to operate at Lagoon and has operated here since 1976. It is a Jet Star 2 model from Schwarzkopf and is the only operating Jet Star 2 model in North America. This coaster is also unique in that it features a spiral lift that uses electric motors on the cars themselves to propel the cars to the top. The motor turns off once the car reaches the top of the spiral lift leaving gravity to propel the car through the rest of the course. Jet Star 2 is 1,919' 3'' long and 4' 3'' high. They also do not allow any single riders.
