Jardine Cycle & Carriage is selling its Cycle & Carriage automotive businesses in Malaysia and Singapore to Indonesia’s Chandra Asri Group for S$265 million.

The sale covers vehicle distribution and retail, aftersales, financing and insurance services.

JC&C said the deal will allow it to focus on its core markets in Indonesia and Vietnam while improving shareholder returns.

The assets being sold contributed about US$16 million in net profit in the first half of 2026.

The transaction is expected to be completed by Feb 28, 2027, subject to conditions being met.
