Your podcast has its own website or some place online where a listener or viewer can go to get more information about your show but how well does it serve your audience?
Can you play the episode on your website? Can you download the .mp3 file? Can you subscribe to the show on iTunes and beyond?
What are the other features every podcast website should have when a listener shows up?

![Canon M6 for Video and Vlogging 📷: A first impression
The Canon M6 mirrorless is the best camera for vlogging that you might not hear much about. All gear linked below 👇
The M6 arrived and I barely heard about it. I cant remember why I found out the camera existed, I know it wasnt on purpose, but when I saw the specs I immediately asked for B&H to send me one for review.
When it comes to vlogging and vlogging cameras, no camera has checked off my personal list of must haves. The Canon M6 finally did.
The core things I want to see from a mirrorless camera that works great for vlogging and by proxy any video work, are:
✅ Compact
✅ Flip screen
✅ Microphone input
✅ Great autofocus
✅ 1080p 60fps
✅ Image stabilization
✅ Less than $1000
Until the M6, you couldnt get all these features in sub one thousand dollar camera. Most notably, mirrorless cameras in the same class were lacking a microphone input. With the Canon M6, we get that as well as a fully articulating screen.
From just shooting with this camera for a few days, Ive been very impressed with how all these features work together. Combined with a very easy to use touch screen, this camera really lets you go anywhere and shoot great looking and sounding video while not breaking the budget.
💡Possible solutions for mounting a microphone out of the way of the flip screen:

![We Faked It - Podcast Movement 2017 Vlog
I traveled to Anaheim to speak at Podcast Movement 2017. This is the vlog and this is the Kit I used to film it https://kit.co/rayortega/sony-a6500-vlogging.
I hosted a panel on podcast RSS feeds along with Daniel J. Lewis, Dave Jackson, and Addy Saucedo. We went over each tag in a feed as it relates to podcasting and covered the new Apple tags coming at the end of 2017. You can see how each tag translates here podcastersroundtable.com/pm17.

While at PM17, I brought my Sony a6500 and took it everywhere. When I go to podcast conferences, its basically one big family reunion, seeing people I talk to all year on social and work with in podcasting. It was a lot of fun to capture their first reactions as I walked up to them with my vlogging rig.
The gear I used is not optimized for vlogging. The a6500 does not have a flip screen and I wasnt using a wide enough lens but when you know your limitations, you can do a lot to overcome them. Im still happy with the results achieved and the a6500 impresses in low-light.
Heres how I setup the a6500 (all gear linked below)
• Movie Mode
• 1080, 25p and 60p
• Shutter Priority set between 1/50 - 1/100
• Sony 28mm F2
• Auto White Balance
• Image stabilization enabled
• Auto ISO
• Aperture is set automatically based on shutter speed
• Having an f2 lens was great in low-light & Im impressed with the image even at f2
• Auto-focus: Continuous
• Focus mode: Zone (middle-top)
• PP7 Slog-2
• Exposure comp +1.5
• Rode VideoMic Pro
• Audio level: 15 with Rode VideoMic Pro set to: 0
• Manfrotto Pixi
• SmallRig cage for the a6500
