Camping in cold weather, and winter camping in general, is intimidating enough, let alone finding the right winter sleeping bag to keep you warm! But it doesn't need to be! Fortunately, comfort doesn't have to come at too high of a price with the Teton LEEF 0 cold weather sleeping bag! And for price to comfort I think this is a GREAT bag that will make your first winter or fall trip a real success! But there are a few things to consider :
- It's a bit bulky
- It's a bit heavy
- It is really warm, but probably not warm enough for most Canadian winters without some extra layers or a sleeping bag liner, like the Reactor Extreme (affiliate link here: geni.us/Z570n3A)
BUT:
- Did I mention it IS really warm! For most warm sleepers, and in many less extremely wintery places, like Canada, this would be a great bag! For shoulder seasons to mild winter conditions.
- It's very affordable
- It's not TOO bulky or heavy, and the cost-comfort makes it worth it to get you started!
