Backcountry Forward began as my personal journey into the backcountry. Having always dreamed of backpacking "one day", I finally decided to give up on pushing it off and make "some day" today! I've been on that journey ever since, and I've learnt so much on my adventures and I want to share those helpful tips and tools!
I have a passion for getting others outdoors because I believe the backcountry is for everyone, and there's no better time to start than now! I offer hiking, backpacking, and general outdoor tips and tricks to make sure others can have a successful experience outside. Whether you're a beginner backpacker or you've been the weekend warrior for decades, I hope to inspire, encourage, and equip you to engage with the great outdoors!
