Is PCIe Gen 5 SSD REALLY Worth The Upgrade For Thunderbolt 5 Mac Users?

With PCIe Gen 5 SSD compatibility coming for 80Gbps Thunderbolt 5 SSD enclosures for your Mac, is the upgrade with it?
In this video I explain what you need to know about the difference between a PCIe Gen 4 SSD and PCIe Gen 5 SSD when used inside a PCIe Gen 5 compatible Thunderbolt 5 SSD enclosure for your Mac or compatible Windows PC.
While the SSD enclosure itself with an upgraded modified Intel Thunderbolt 5 chipset, such as the soon to be released new version of the ACASIS TB501 Pro will recognise and use a PCIe Gen 5 SSD. The actual PCIe standard for Thunderbolt 5 will still be PCIe 4 and will therefore not take full advantage of the huge speeds of PCIe Gen 5 SSDs.
However, the use of a PCIe Gen 5 SSD inside a compatible Thunderbolt 5 enclosure, or 80Gbps USB4 V2 SSD enclosure. Will give you the absolute maximum storage speed that you can get from those enclosures.
