THE IRISH ROVERS at Bunratty Castle Part 2 finds the Rovers at the Medieval Banquet with music from the Rovers (The Nightingale, McPherson's Lament) and the Castle singers with an old Irish drinking song Bimis Ag Ol.', Danny Boy and a bit of Jug o' Punch. The half hour program was a part of their regular CBC Vancouver TV series and was taped in 1975. If you're flying to Shannon Airport, the near by Castle is strongly recommended. It's the 5th to stand on this site since a Norman knight built the 1st back in 1250, now complete with 15th & 16th century furniture. The food and mead are excellent.
