Chubby's recording of The Twist is Billboard magazine's #1 Greatest of All Time Top 100 Hits having been the only record to reach #1 in two separate years: 1960 and again in 1962. Recorded when Chubby (Ernest Evans) was 18, the song gave birth to the worldwide Twist dance craze. He popularized other dance crazes with his songs including The Fly, the Limbo Rock and The Hucklebuck.
