Today is International Volunteer Day, when we celebrate and promote the impact of volunteering. We want to say a big thank you to the more than 70,000 #RFS volunteers, who give up their own time to protect the communities of NSW.
The theme for this year is 'If Everyone Did', so if you've ever wanted to have a positive impact on your community, make new friends or learn new skills, then why not check out which roles suit you? We have a role for everyone, including firefighting, catering, communications and support.
