Over the weekend, Basin View Brigade celebrated its 75th anniversary. Founded in 1949, the brigade was built on the generosity of local community members, who provided the basic equipment necessary to protect others during times of crisis. At a special ceremony on Sunday, a memorial garden was unveiled at the station to honour dedicated volunteers who are no longer with us.
