Tormach Inc. | Installation of the Tormach 8L Lathe @tormachinc | Uploaded December 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
The Tormach 8L Lathe has a very straight forward installation procedure. Most anyone can do it with the minimal amount of tools, the most important being an engine hoist, and a pallet jack. You have the option to install it on a stand or it can be installed on a tabletop, as long as it is sturdy enough. The tabletop option is covered in detail in the 8L Operator Manual.

Before performing this procedure, please follow the instruction that came in your Operator Manual for all the warnings and cautions, and for the tool list necessary to install this lathe.
